According to the sociologists of HSE Centre for Studies of Civil Society and Nonprofit Sector, young men 18-24 years old speak out against video supervision more frequently than other age groups. On the contrary, women of the same age support this control measure.
Surveillance cameras capable of recognizing faces are installed in many Russian residential areas. Should such cameras recognize faces of all citizens, or should they be limited to searching for intruders and recording dangerous situations?
