This year’s HSE competition for the creation of international laboratories which considered proposals for the period of January 1, 2021 – December 21, 2023, was conducted from June 15 to December 15, 2020.
Out of 26 submitted laboratory proposals, three projects were selected by the Committee for Organizing International Research Projects Supervised by Leading International and Russian Researchers:
‘Artificial Intelligence Methods for Solving Financial Economy Problems’, supervised by Ali Emrouznejad (Aston University, UK) and Tamara Teplova (HSE);
‘Computational Genetics of Alternative DNA Structures’, supervised by Alan Herbert (InsideOutBio, USA; University of Auckland, New Zealand) and Maria Poptsova (HSE);
‘Digital Transformation of Public Services and Citizen Participation’, supervised by Vishanth Weerakkody (University of Bradford, UK) and Evgeny Styrin (HSE).
The International Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Finance (at the Faculty of Economic Sciences);
The International Laboratory of Bioinformatics (the Faculty of Computer Science);
International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (the Institute for Public Administration and Governance).
