On May 16 you are kindly invited to the open talk «Mexico’s Recent Crises: An Overview» within the HSE project «University Open to the City: HSE Talks».
In the early 21st century, Mexico is mired in a series of deep and multifaceted crises, the impacts of which manifest in widespread social suffering, and horrific human rights violations. Drawing on a recent book by historian and social commentator Lorenzo Meyer (“Distopía Mexicana” [Mexican Dystopia]), this talk will provide an overview of these crises and their history.

About the project «University Open to the City: HSE Talks»:
HSE Talks Club is a place, where everyone can dive into an international atmosphere with intellectual leisure.
